The word doctor is derived from the latin word Docere’, which literally means “Doctor As Teacher.”

Doctors have historically been viewed as teachers and educators.

Education is the foundation upon which everything is built at Arizona Prohealth. It is our aim to continually educate ourselves about the latest breakthroughs in health, medicine, wellness and fitness so we can then relay that new information to you.

While it is clearly important to keep up to date on new information, our many years of formal education and clinical experience has revealed that some of the most beneficial information necessary to prevent disease, treat illness and improve health is already known.

For example, most doctors learn virtually everything they need to know about health and disease during the first two years of medical school, before they even see their first patient. It is during those two years when knowledge is gained about how the body functions, what it needs to remain healthy and what typically occurs in deficiency or disease states.

We provide formal and informal education for individuals, families, business owners and their employees. Topics include but are not limited to:

  • How to prevent disease.

  • How to treat illness using the best of naturopathic, homeopathic and conventional medical techniques.

  • Effective stress management strategies.

  • How to improve health using vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, and other natural substances.

  • How to safely and effectively reduce or discontinue the use of pharmaceutical medications (in many cases).

  • Health assessment.

  • Learn which foods to avoid in certain disease states.

  • Learn how common chemicals in your environment affect your health.

  • Learn how the Standard American Diet (SAD) can adversely affect your health.

  • Fitness and conditioning tips.

  • And much, much more…

In general, we can create educational and consulting programs on any health, medical and wellness topic you want to learn more about.
