Michael has lived in Arizona since the 1970’s and has been serving the laboratory industry for well over 35 years. He has been married for 25 years and has four children.

After receiving a certificate from the well known Medical Laboratory Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he quickly realized that he had the desire and recognized the value of obtaining a full degree in the medical field. Following that he attended ASU in Tempe, AZ where he eventually obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Microbiology with a minor in Pre-Med.

Over the next several years, Michael performed admirably in many areas of the laboratory field however, he soon began to discover that his greatest interest was in assisting the private physician to curtail the high costs of laboratory services.

Michael also developed an interest and talent for teaching, which led him to accept the position at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ as clinical laboratory director. While at SCNM he was able to provide the “physicians to be” with an in depth view and understanding of the outpatient laboratory, which allowed them to function much more efficiently in their own private medical clinics.

He has been a leader in the laboratory industry serving not only the clinical physician, but other health and medical professionals as well. As a result of his experience and interest, Michael has been asked to write many industry specific articles in addition to starting a nationally recognized laboratory organization.

Michael has owned, operated and managed several of his own outpatient medical reference laboratories. He currently owns and operates LABNET, which promotes “Personalized Diagnostic Services” with a strict adherence toward the goal of reducing the overwhelmingly high cost of healthcare.

Michael has worked with several of the providers in the Arizona Prohealth organization and is looking forward to extending his knowledge and providing his discounted laboratory services to all of its members.
